Jamshedpur: The birth anniversary of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar was celebrated with fervour on Saturday by members of Jharkhand State Vaisya Ekta Manch near Sakchi on Saturday. District president of the outfit Rakesh Sahu and others paid rich tributes to Dr Ambedkar. The speakers of the event spoke on the great contributions made by Dr Ambedkar and the role played by him in framing the Indian Constitution. They took a pledge to follow in the footsteps of the great Indian leader.
Among those present on the occasion included the state president Baijnath Prasad, Uttam Gupta, Baijnath Prasad, Subhash Gupta, Chandrika Prasad, Suraj Prasad, Pankaj Jaisawal, Sanjay Sah, Kamlesh Sao, Krishna Sahu, Ajay Sahu and Ashok Sahu.
