Jamshedpur: Vaisya Ekta Manch members organized Vaisya Apke Dwar programme in Chhayanagar, Bhuiyandih, on Sunday.
Presiding over the event, district president of the outfit Rakesh Sahu said only education could improve the condition of Vaisya community members. He said a literacy drive was must to start educating the community members. He also appealed for unity among the outfit members.
Also present on the occasion, senior general secretary Subodh Prasad said the Vaisya community believes in giving and not taking from the society.
Many members of Vaisya community were present during the programme. They included Nand Kishor Gupta, Umesh Sao, Vijay Kumar, Bhola Sao, Pappu Kumar, Manoj Gupta and Vijay Kumar Gupta.
