Jamshedpur, Oct 26: In a novel way to ensure 100% vaccination eligible beneficiaries of the district, the district administration is providing vaccination facilities through mobile vans. District’s senior in-charge vaccination cell Sandeep Kumar Meena said that one can just make a call or email, the health department team will reach homes of beneficiaries for Covid vaccination.
He said that if there are 10 or more persons at any place, who have not yet vaccinated COVID, they can avail the facility of vaccination from a mobile van by contacting the vaccination cell through phone or email. For this, one can call on 6207628627, 7858038654.
Meena said that the initiative has been taken to curb the spread of coronavirus. Beneficiaries who have not taken the second dose even after the stipulated time period in the district will be contacted by the district administration through phone and through message by the team of DPB, the eligible beneficiaries will be appealed for vaccination by visiting their nearest center.
Meena said that all the beneficiaries above 18 years of age must vaccinate themselves and their families. Keeping in mind the prevention of corona infection, the facility of vaccination is being provided especially from mobile vans, so that maximum number of beneficiaries can get vaccinated and the effect of possible third wave is not affected in East Singhbhum district.“Vaccination is the only option for protection against corona infection and it is also available free of cost at many centers across the district. In such a situation, there is an appeal to the people of the district to get immunization done by visiting their nearest center or avail the facility of mobile van,” said another official.
