Jamshedpur: The Kalinga Samaj under the Utkal Association of Vijaya Gardens Housing Society celebrated Utkal Divas with great enthusiasm at the society’s clubhouse on Friday.
The event was graced by Jamshedpur East MLA, Purnima Sahu, as the chief guest.
Residents from Odisha participated wholeheartedly, making the celebration vibrant and memorable.
The event began with a devotional Jagannath Vandana, followed by captivating dance and music performances by participants. Women and children especially enthralled the audience with energetic performances on Odia songs.
Traditional Odia cuisine was served, adding flavour to the festive spirit, while attendees dressed in ethnic attire showcased the rich cultural heritage of Odisha.
The celebration beautifully reflected a deep connection to roots, culture, and community bonding.
