Gamharia: A 40 year old contract worker, identified as Narendra Kumar Mahato, died after being crushed under a heavy machine in Usha Martin company at Gamharia on Wednesday.
Sources said the incident occurred around 4 pm when the said machine reportedly overturned and fell on Mahato. The victim was taken to Tata Main Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, sources said.
Sources said the deceased was a resident of Raidih village in Seraikela.
