Jamshedpur, May 4: The DBMS College of Education celebrated its Graduation Night Ceremony for the 2025 batch on Saturday evening in its auditorium. The event commenced with a solemn lamp procession led by the Principal, Vice Principal, and faculty members, symbolizing the light of knowledge.

Dr. Sanjeev Anand, CVC of Kolhan University, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was attended by key members of the DBMS Trust including Chairperson (Finance) B. Chandrashekhar, Chairperson (Administration) Lalitha Chandrashekhar, Joint Chairperson . Kamala Subramaniam, College Secretary Sripriya Dharmarajan, Principal Dr. Joohi Samarpita, and Vice Principal Dr. Monica Uppal, along with faculty, staff, and students.

Principal Dr. Samarpita presented the annual report, highlighting academic achievements and student activities.

Awards were presented to outstanding students. The “General Proficiency” award went to Manimala Mahato, Nistala Shailaja, and Rana Surya Mukherjee. Subject toppers were also honored, including Ashrita Purti (Hindi), Diksha Kumari (English), and others.
Special awards included the “Best Student” award to Urvashi Ray, “Trail Blazer” to Parvinder Singh, “Trend Setter” to Diksha Kumari, and “Best Conduct” to Ghazala Firdaus. Other recognitions included “Excel against Odds,” “President Award” (Rotaract), “Perseverance Award,” and the “All-Rounder” award to Nistala Shailaja.
Dr. Anand, in his address, emphasized the importance of education as a tool for service and character building. He encouraged students to stay resilient and true to their values.
The event concluded with the release of the annual magazine and a vote of thanks by Joint Secretary Sudha Dilip.
