Jadugoda, April 19: Class XII student of Uranium Corporation Central School, table tennis player Khushi Gope has received a scholarship amount of Rs 36,000 from the Sports Ministry of the Jharkhand government. The amount was credited to her bank account. This amount, apart from Khushi Gope has been given to 10 players in Jharkhand.
Khushi�s father and UCIL employee SK Gope was elated at learning the news. He said that the UCIL management too had given his daughter, a TT prodigy, Rs 6,000 earlier. Khushi has participated in national tourneys conducted Table Tennis Federation of India and East Singhbhum Table Tennis Association and has brought laurels for her state in the game. Khushi Gope had won the national championship in 2013.
