Jamshedpur, March 27: The Upkar Sangh is all set to celebrate its 40th Navratri Jawra Puja with grandeur and devotion, as announced in a meeting held on its premises today. Patron Sudhir Kumar Pappu shared details of the festivities, highlighting that this year, 71 devotees will decorate the Jyot of Mata, marking a significant milestone in the Puja’s history.
The event will witness participation from devotees across Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Jharkhand, and Jamshedpur, reinforcing the deep-rooted cultural and spiritual importance of the festival. Adding to the fervor, Chhattisgarhi Navratri Mata Bhajans will be performed under the leadership of Bhajan Mandali’s Naresh Verma.
A host of eminent personalities will grace the Puja celebrations, including former Chief Minister Raghubar Das, MP Bidyut Barun Mahto, MLA Saryu Roy, MLA Purnima Das, former MLA Banna Gupta, Amarpreet Singh Kale, Rajkumar Singh, Neeraj Singh, and other dignitaries. Their presence will add prestige and spiritual significance to the occasion.
The festivities will commence with the inauguration of the Puja Pandal on March 29, 2025, and continue until April 6, 2025, culminating in the Dashami procession and immersion ceremony on April 7, 2025. The celebrations will conclude with the distribution of Mahaprasad in the afternoon, symbolizing the divine blessings of Mata.
The meeting was attended by several devoted members and residents, including Basant Sahu, Satpal Sahu, Naresh Verma, Umashankar Sharma, Shyamlal Sahu, Aman Kumar, Kanhaiya Yadav, Sahil Sharma, Sujal Sharma, Vishwa Sahu, Harsh Kumar, Narendra Sahu, Narendra Verma, Krish Yadav, Kunal Yadav, and Vishwakarma Verma. The Upkar Sangh continues to uphold its legacy of spiritual unity and cultural reverence, making this year’s Navratri celebrations even more special.
