Jamshedpur, March 31: Promoting Sports as a way of life, Tata Steel inaugurated the upgraded state-of-the-art Tata Steel Badminton Training Centre at JRD Tata Sports Complex.

T V Narendran, CEO & Managing Director, Tata Steel graced the occasion as Chief Guest in the presence of Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President Corporate Services, Tata Steel and Rituraj Sinha, Managing Director, Tata Steel Utilities Infrastructure Services Limited (TSUISL), Pranay Sinha, Chief Corporate Services (Jamshedpur), Tata Steel and Mukul Vinayak Choudhari, Chief Sports Excellence Centre, TFA & Sports, Tata Steel.

The upgraded badminton training centre is now equipped with 5 synthetic surface courts with international standard lighting.

The facility also includes two air-conditioned courts as well. It has separate changing rooms for men and women, ensuring the best possible experience for all players.

The newly built facility will now pave way for hosting of national level tournaments in the city.

Tata Steel Badminton Training Centre is all set to provide best-in-class playing environment for all sporting enthusiasts.

Currently, a total of 491 players are registered at the Tata Steel Badminton Training Centre.
