Medininagar: In a peculiar case that has emerged from Medininagar, Palamu district, a unique scenario has unfolded where two husbands are staking claim to the same wife. The woman in question hails from Bihar, and her two husbands hail from Haryana and Medininagar, Jharkhand, respectively. The unusual situation came to light when Surendra, a resident of Haryana, filed an FIR regarding the disappearance of his wife, leading him to Medininagar.
According to available information, the woman, originally from Nabinagar, Bihar, was romantically involved with a man named Nepali from Navatoli in the Medininagar Town police station area of Palamu. Subsequently, Nepali married the woman from Nabinagar, and after a few months of marriage, she went to Haryana. In Haryana, she got married to Surendra, a resident of Nizampur police station area in Mahendragarh, Haryana. The woman had children and was residing in Haryana.
The plot thickened when the health of Nepali’s mother, who resides in Palamu, worsened, prompting the woman to travel from Haryana to Medininagar to attend to Nepali’s mother. Surendra, upon learning of the woman’s presence in Medininagar, also made his way to the location and sought assistance from the police.
The police summoned the woman to the police station, where Surendra expressed his desire to take his wife and children back to Haryana. Meanwhile, Nepali, the woman’s first husband, is unwilling to let her go, and the woman herself expresses a desire to stay with her initial spouse. The police are currently attempting to mediate in this complex case, but as of now, no resolution has been reached.
