Jamshedpur, Oct 4: Sports Department had conducted the�Inter Club Double Tennis Tournament�at JRD Tata Sports Complex on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.�
Fourteen (14) members� from 3 clubs- Beldih Club (2 pairs), United Club (4 pairs) and Golmuri Club teams participated in the tournament.�
In the final match of the tournament United Club �A� defeated United Club �B��by 4 sets to 2. Each match was of 7 games.
Chandrashekhar & his team were the referees and cooperated in making the tournament successful.�
Tarun Daga, MD, Tinplate, was the Chief Guest and distributed the prizes and he played too from Golmuri Club.�
On the occasion Avneesh Gupta, PEO, Tata Steel was present as a player and Charles Borromeo, Head Sports,�Rajiv Seth, Sr. Manager Sports and executives with their families were present.�
Avinash Kumar, Managers Sports (Event) conducted the entire tournament and Rajiv Seth, Punam Kumari,�B K Jena, Arun Sinha & Ravi Barua and his staff teams cooperated in making it success.�
