Jamshedpur: Submissions of objections put up by TWU office bearers continue to pour in the administration.

The administration received 54 objections on Monday while on Tuesday a record 346 objections were filed. The administration which has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting TWU polls has announced single voting on the basis of personnel number. The system had not been followed in the past.

The problem in single voting is that if a department has two committee members then the employees would not be able to cast votes for two committee members. In such cases a department would lose proper representations.

Today a host of TWU office-bearers including its president PN Singh, general secretary BK Dinda, Salilesh Singh and Arvind Pandey of Raghunath Pandey faction and dozens of other union members met ADC Sunil Kumar and submitted their objections.

They urged that the union election be held in a manner which was followed in earlier elections.

The administration is likely to take a decision on the issue tomorrow and thereafter votersí list would be announced on Thursday.

Poll campaign will begin in a big way after votersí list is enlisted. Meanwhile the union office bearers have geared up for the forthcoming union election.

Hectic activities have already been started. The poll aspirants are all set to garner support of the voters in various departments.
