Ranchi : With the elections around the corner, you could easily mistake this for a political campaign. For the past 7 days, Ranchi saw numbers of outdoor hoardings, posters and pamphlets announcing the launch of a new outfit the Sabse Sasta Dal. With everyday, basic commodities are becoming unaffordable for the common man; price rise is an issue that affects every household.
Mobilising public demand for affordability, Sabse Sasta Dal was launched by Bihar and Jharkhands lowest telecom tariffs provider Uninor as a platform to seek affordability in everyday purchases in the state.
The campaign reached a high point today with hundreds of participants from all walks of life joining a march against inflation. The march was aptly called the “Mehengai Todh March”.
