Undertrial commits suicide near Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Apr 20:  An undertrial committed suicide inside the Ghatshila sub-divisonal jail on Tuesday. 
The undertrial Ramu Sabar, a resident of Moubhandar under Gudabandha thana area had committed suicide using a towel to hang from the toilet pipe. 
Soon after knowing about the incident jail officials rushed the undertrial to Sub Divisional Hospital in Ghatshila where the doctors declared him brought dead and the body was sent to MGM Hospital for postmortem. 
The Ghatshila SDPO Kuldeep Toppo inquired with fellow undertrials who said that the deceased was depressed and might have committed suicide due to depression. 
Ghatshila jail superintendent N. K Singh is also probing into the reason for the undertrial to commit suicide.
