Minsk, Sep 5 (IANS) Representatives of Ukraine’s government and pro-Russian insurgent leadership Friday inked here a ceasefire agreement slated to take effect later in the day, media reported.
The agreement was signed after the so-called Contact Group for Ukraine, which includes representatives from Ukraine, Russia, the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the pro-Russian separatists, held discussions in the Belorussian capital Minsk, Xinhua reported citing Interfax news agency.
