Gamharia, March 20: The windowpanes of UKG classroom at Nav Jyoti Vidya Mandir Vidyalaya in Bolaidih of Gamharia block were smashed by allegedly by antisocial elements who pelted stones. Glass shards lay scattered in the classroom. School Principal Anisha Srivastava said that the school was closed on Saturday after the annual examination results were declared. She said that at that time school property was undisturbed. When all classes reopened on Monday morning, the windowpanes of the UKG classroom were found smashed and shards of glass lay scattered across the floor. She said, “Fortunately, no student was in class at that time or there could have been serious injuries.” The school management has registered a complaint regarding the incident in the Gamharia police station.
