Jamshedpur, Aug 26: Twenty Point Programme Implementation Committee president Sriram Singh Munda convened a meeting with Ujjwala Didis at Jamshedpur block headquarters on Monday. He said the purpose of the meeting was to expedite the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) through faster distribution of free LPG kits. He said all poor families would be provided free LPG connection by September end this year. He appealed to panchayat level Ujjwala Didis to prepare village level Ujjwala Didis for speedy implementation and success of the scheme. He said Ujjwala Didis were working actively in all 55 panchayats of the block.
The meeting was attended by Ninu Kudada, Annu Karmakar, Vimla Samad, Basanti Baskey, Sogra Khatoon, Rakhi Singh Sardar and Priya Devi.
