Jamshedpur, Aug 26: Members of BSSR Union staged demonstration before the Jamshedpur Collectorate in support of various demands raised by medical and sales unions. Around 200 sales promotion employees participated in the programme. The protestors demanded revocation of government�s proposal to amend all 44 labour laws and the Code of Occupational Safety, Health and Working Condition Bill 2019. They said the government proposed to repeal the Sales Promotion Employees (Service Conditions) Act 1976. They said more than 5 lakh sales promotion workers across the country would be adversely affected by the government move.
