Potka: UCIL Ladies Club distributed school bags and copies among 150 children of Swami Parmanand Shatabdi Primitive Tribe Residential School at Sundernagar on Wednesday. A cultural programme was organized on the occasion.
The students presented Santhali dance and skits on the occasion. They also recited poems and created awareness on cleanliness.
The chief guest of the occasion was Jaishree Asnani, wife of UCIL CMD CK Asnani. Accompanied by Keko Ghosh, wife of UCIL�s director of finance, she distributed school bags and copies among the students and asked them to study well.
Among those present on the occasion included Archana Ghare, Anubha Das Gupta, Usha Sharma, Veena, Gauri Nayak, Saroja and Basanti Tudu.
