Jamshedpur: Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) management on Saturday distributed school bags, umbrellas and notebooks among 36 tribal students of Rohini Bera Primary School near Jadugora on Saturday.
The students, on getting the gift, expressed joy and said that the articles given to them were of great utility for their daily use.
Also present on the occasion, Zila Parishad member Hira Moni Murmu praised the company for extending its support to local villages in order to ensure their development. The additional manager of UCIL D Hansda requested parents to send their children regularly to school.
Among others present during the event included Balendra Sah, Sumitra Tigga, Samay Murmu, Sakro Manjhi, Musra Soren, Girish Sardar and Nehru Majhi.
