Jamshedpur, October 19: Uranium Corporation of India Ltd (UCIL) Turamdih on Wednesday organized a free medical camp at Nandup village and distributed medicines among the patients.
Earlier in the camp 28 villagers were treated and were provided with free medicine. Chief medical officer of UCIL cum DGM Dr. Manoj Kumar and Dr. Sushmita Kumari treated the patients.
Several hospital staffs including Shankar Gope, Veer Singh, Magdo Diggi, Neeta provided full support in making the camp successful. Significantly, UCIL Turamdih organizes free medical camp every week at villages (Nandup, Talsa, Keruvadungri and Mahuldiha) near Turamdih Uranium project which benefits the patients.
According the UCIL management, Rs 36 thousand worth of medicine is distributed among the villagers at every camp.
