U-19 I League: TFA dispatches MP United FC 5-1

Jamshedpur, April 11: Tata Steel in association with Jharkhand Football Association (JFA), under the aegis of All India Football Federation, is organizing the Under -19 I League Football Tournament from April 8 – 13, 2014 at Keenan Stadium, Jamshedpur and Noamundi. Seven teams from across the country are participating in this tournament.

Today�s match was played at Keenan Stadium, Jamshedpur between TFA and MP United Football Club. Tata Football Academy (TFA) defeated MP United Football Club by a margin of 5 goals to 1. Bailey Bodhanwala, Managing Director, Tarapore & Co. was present on the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The scorers from TFA were Biswajit Sardar, J. No. 12 at 11th minute, K. Udanta Singh, J. No. 10 at 36th minute, Vinit Rai, J. No. 16 at 54th minute, K. Udanta Singh, J. No. 10 at 80th minute and the 5th goal by Manas Sarkar at 85th minute.

From MP United FC side L Nokul Singh, J. No. 11 scored the only goial for his side at 9th minute.

Cautions were awarded to K Udanta Singh, J. No. 10 at 33rd and to Vijay Kumar, J. No. 27 at 86th minute of TFA. From MP United FC – Om Prakash, J. No. 02 at 63rd minute was awarded.

Match Commissioner was Sumanta Ghosh of Kolkata, Match Referee was Ravi Pandey of WIFA. Asst Referees were Balajee of Meghalaya & M Pillay of WIFA. Fourth Official for the match was Dinesh Soren of Jamshedpur.
