Jamshedpur: Two youths died in a road accident late Friday night near the Jugsalai railway crossing. The incident has plunged the residents of Adityapur into gloom.
The victims have been identified as Krish (19) and Abhay (26), both residents of Road Number 7, Adityapur Colony. According to reports, the duo had gone out with friends to celebrate a party. The tragedy struck while they were returning home.
Witnesses stated that at approximately 10:00 pm on Friday, the victims were traveling on a motorcycle when the rider lost control near the Jugsalai railway gate. Due to the high speed, the bike skidded and fell, throwing both riders onto the road and causing severe injuries.
The accident caused immediate chaos at the scene, with several bystanders rushing to assist. The Jugsalai Police were notified and arrived promptly at the site. The two youths were rushed to the MGM Hospital. However, upon arrival, doctors conducted an examination and declared both of them dead.
The news of the sudden demise has left the families of the victims in a state of deep shock and mourning. The police have taken note of the incident and are conducting further formalities.
