Jamshedpur: Police arrested two youths for allegedly lifting motorcycles parked in Jubilee Park recently.
The accused, identified as Shabbir Alam, resident of Gaus Nagar near Kapali at Mango, and Shubham Kumar Jha, resident of Guru Nanak Mohalla, Olidih, reportedly confessed their involvement in several recent incidents of theft in Jubilee Park.
Cops are questioning the two in connection with various incidents of vehicle lifting reported in different police station areas across the city. They hope to bust the racket involved in lifting the vehicles and selling them to various inter-state buyers.
In another achievement, cops arrested one Vijay Munda with stolen gold chain and mobile phone in connection with the recent incident of theft in the house of a police officer, one Vipin Kumar, at Kasidih. Munda is a resident of Bagunhatu under Sidhgora PS.
