Jadugora, April 24: Two Adivasi youths, Khelaram Murmu, former Mukhiya, and Doman Tudu, both from Jadugora, completed the entrepreneurship training programme at XLRI Jamshedpur on Monday.
They returned to their villages, Bhatin and Lowadih respectively, with the knowledge and experience gained during the 23 day long training programme.
The training programme was hosted by Indian Development Council, Jamshedpur in collaboration with the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Ministry, New Delhi. Certificates were awarded to the aspiring entrepreneurs on the conclusion of the training. The two said they learnt a great deal about the basics of entrepreneurship and how to take one�s business to great heights by following certain tips.
Murmu said the Adivasis should not always look for government�s help when it comes to moving ahead in their lives. He said taking risks would give good returns to the entrepreneurs.
He said the youths of Adivasi community should get associated with the Indian Development Council so that they may learn entrepreneurial skills.
