Jamshedpur: Assailants fired on two youths, Ravi and Bajrang, at Imli Chowk, Adityapur, on Sunday. They bombed the victims after shooting them.
The two were taken to Tata Main Hospital where their condition was reportedly serious. Police reached the scene and began investigation into the incident.
They suspect the assailants came from Muslim Busti, Adityapur. The firing could be the result of an old enmity, they said. An FIR has been lodged in this connection.
Police said the assailants came on motorcycle and opened fire on the victims from close range. The victims were rushed to the hospital by local residents.
