Two railway parcel booking staff transferred

Jamshedpur: Two railway parcel booking clerks, Rakesh Thakur and MK Singh, have been transferred from Tatanagar. They were accused of irregularity in their work in booking parcels and fixing their rates.

The vigilance team of South Eastern Railway zone had caught the two during an inspection and found them guilty. A report was filed against the accused persons with the Chakradharpur divisional railway headquarters in this connection. Thakur and Singh have been reportedly transferred to Jhinkpani and Manoharpur railway stations respectively.

Around a dozen other commercial department employees of Railways have been transferred as they were deputed at the same place for several years.
