Jamshedpur, Feb 24: Two minor girls have mysteriously gone missing after they had come out from their houses for attending tuition class at Adityapur in the adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district. Though 24 hours have passed since the two minors went missing the police are yet to get any clue to their whereabouts.
The missing girls have been identified as Sonali Kumari (13), a resident of Majhitola in Adityapur municipal corporation and Radha Sardar (14), a resident of Tripura Colony, also in the Adityapur municipal corporation.
The police have started searching for the two missing minors from Wednesday morning after parents of one of the girl’s lodged a missing person report with the Adityapur police station late on Tuesday night.
Sonali’s father Dinesh Prasad said his daughter had gone for her tuition class in Adityapur itself at 3 pm on Tuesday like she would go every day.
” We are in a state of shock and never thought that my daughter would not return home. She used to be back by 5 pm, which was her usual time for home-coming. But when she didn’t return even by 7 pm, we started to search for her, ” said Prasad.
Prasad who works at Adityapur industrial area said they first went over to the tuition teacher’s house.
“As my daughter did not return we went to the teacher’s house. But the teacher told us that Sonali had not come to the tuition class on Tuesday. As we tried to contact her friends we came to know that Sonali was seen with one of her friends, Radha Sardar at Adityapur in the evening. When we went to Radha’s house in Murari Colony Radha was found missing from her house. Then only I lodged a missing person report with the Adityapur police station late on Tuesday night, “said Prasad.
