Jamshedpur, Jan 19: In a remarkable achievement, two students from Jamshedpur Women’s University have demonstrated excellence by successfully passing the National Eligibility Test (NET) examination. Nidhi Kumari, a Post Graduate student from the Department of English (Session 2021 – 2023), and Payal Kumari, the topper of Post Graduate in the Geography Department (Session 2020 – 2022), have brought honor to the university.
The NET examination, conducted in December 2023, serves as a significant milestone for aspiring Assistant Professors. Both Nidhi Kumari and Payal Kumari excelled in their respective subjects under the guidance of Assistant Professors, showcasing their dedication and academic prowess.
The NET exam is held biannually and serves as a gateway for Assistant Professor candidates. Additionally, female students who qualify for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) – National Fellowship Test (NFT) are awarded scholarships to pursue Ph.D. studies in fields related to their subjects.
