Two Jamshedpur students Vanshika and Divyansh crowned second national toppers in ISC Class 12

Jamshedpur, July 24: Vanshika of Loyola School and Divyansh Mishra of Little Flower School, Jamshedpur have made their school and city proud by securing the second position in the country in ISC Class 12 exam, the result of which was announced on Sunday, July 24 evening. Both Vanshika and Divyansh have scored 99.5 % marks in Commerce stream and have been declared Jharkhand toppers. Altogether 78 students in the country have made it to the list of second national topper in ISC Class 12 by scoring 99.5 % marks.

Don’t stress out, take it easy: Divyansh’s success mantra

Jamshedpur, July 24: Second national topper Divyansh Mishra of Little Flower School, Jamshedpur, is jubilant over his success. However, he never stressed out during his exam preparation as he believes that it does not help in any manner. “One should remain stress-free and joyous while taking the exams. It keeps the mind calm and helps fetch good marks. This is what I did,” says the topper who aspires to become a Chartered Accountant.

Divyansh had expected to get 98 per cent marks but he was surprised to get 99.5 per cent. He scored perfect 100 in Economics and Maths, 99 each in Commerce and English.

A non-believer in counting study hours, Divyansh used to study just four hours a day on an average. But whenever he studied, he did it sincerely and passionately. He had obtained 98.2 per cent marks in the 10^th Board exams.

Divyansh is not just a studious boy but is also a health freak. He takes care of his physical health and regularly goes to gym. Driving and sports are his other hobbies which prevent him from falling prey to social media and mobile addiction.

Divyansh’s father Kumar Harshvardhan works in TVS company in New Delhi while his mother Shipra Mishra is a homemaker. His family resides at Vijaya Garden,  Baridih.

Vanshika scored 99.50 without tuitions, studied three hours daily

Jamshedpur, July 24: Second national topper Vanshika of Loyola School scored 99.50 per cent marks without tuition or coaching facility. A resident of Sakchi Swarnarekha Flat, she used to study for three hours every day. While keeping away from social media, she studied regularly. She has also participated in national level athlete meet and won prizes. She also played zonal basketball Under-16 match at national level. She also loves cricket and TV. She has appeared in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Her father Krishna Kumar is a supervisor in Tata Steel and the president of Patanjali Yog Samiti, Jamshedpur. Her mother Sarita Gupta is a homemaker.

Vanshika attributes her success to her teachers and parents. She never took stress or pressure. According to her, “Taking pressure will only create problems. One should study comfortably and fix one’s own study hours to achieve success.”

Vanshika wants to take admission in Sri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi and also wants to pursue MBA studies. She had expected to get 98 per cent and was surprised to get 99.50 per cent marks. She had got 100 per cent marks in the first semester. Her elder brother helped her in studies.
