Jamshedpur, July 29: Police arrested two persons allegedly trying to break into a foreign liquor shop in Premnagar, Hata, under Potka police station area late Sunday night. Three associates of the accused duo however managed to give police the slip. They are residents of Sidhgora and Bagunhatu, police sources said.
Those arrested were identified as Arjun Mandal and Chetan Sao. Police confiscated a four wheeler, iron cutter, a crowbar, mobile phone, a box of liquor bottles and another box of beer from their possession.
DSP Mosabani Pitambar Khirwal had directed the OC of Potka PS Ashok Ram to keep an eye on liquor shops during routine patrolling.
