Two dead in collision between trucks in Seraikela

Jamshedpur: Two persons were killed in a head-on collision between two trucks on the Seraikela-Chaibasa road near Pampra fuel station on Sunday. They were identified as Kamal Yadav, resident of Chhapra, Bihar, and Kaushal Tiwary, resident of Kandra.

Sources said the incident occurred around 3.30 am when the two trucks rammed into each other at high speed. Both vehicles were mangled in the incident. It took police officials more than two hours to take the drivers out of their cabins. By the time they were taken out, one of the drivers was dead. The other driver died on his way to hospital, sources said.
