Jamshedpur, Sept 14: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) will conduct a two day training programme on September 15 and 16 at Sone Mandap in Sidgora as per directives of the Urban Housing and development Department of the state government. JNAC Special Officer Krishna Kumar, held a meeting on Tuesday and gave several instructions to start the two-day training. Special Officer Krishna Kumar said that a list of street food vendors had been prepared for their participation in the two-day training camp and the list of retailers who have received training through survey was being prepared by NULM.
NULM personnel are visiting street vending outlets and informing the operators of the two-day training programme. The Special Officer said that the street food vendors who have received training will be given certificates and appropriate consolidated incentives by the government.
The Special Officer asked all officials concerned to ensure that all street food vendors were made aware of the two day training programme so that they could participate in it and reap the benefits. Khalsa Skill and Development Service Pvt Ltd, the training provider, was instructed to put up promotional material, banners in the training centre. Representatives of CMM Salil Tirkey, Principal Assistant, Khalsa Skill and Development Service Private Limited were present in the meeting.
