Jamshedpur, April 19: The department of computer science & engineering of RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur is going to organise a two-day international conference on 20 and 21 April.
The Dean Academic & the Organising Chairman Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari spoke in detail about the conference and Prof. Lau Siong Hoe of Multimedia University Malaysia, Prof. Ashutosh Kumar Singh of NIT Kuruksetra, the director of the college Prof (Dr.) M. P. Singh , Principle Dr. R. N Gupta expressed their views.
Prof. (Dr.) L.S. Hoe appreciated this two day international conference and said this kind of conference enforces the development of IT sector which will ultimately help the making of international unity.
Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Kumar Singh expressed his satisfaction and said such conference is the basis of the emergence of India as the super power in the IT sector.
Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Tiwari focusing on the objectives of this international conference said they have three prime objectives. First of all if we have to make our prime minister�s dream of digital India to come true we will have to provide such platform to the distinguished scholars to have outstanding discussion to make the upward development.
Our second objective is to make our UG and PG students research oriented because students of today are the economic professionals of tomorrow.
Our third objective is to make co-ordination between academia, industries and research without which expected success is not possible.
Rajesh Kumar Tiwari further said, ‘I am happy to share that about two hundred research papers have been received by us for presentation and publication. We have selected 130 papers out of them for presentation and publication. All the papers are of high level’.
He added that the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) has extended its technical support whose core perception is �Advancing Technology for Humanity�.
He also said this was the first of its kind event in Jamshedpur and after IIT (ISM) Dhanbad it was only the second in Jharkhand.
The director of the institute Prof. (Dr.) M. P Singh expressed his happiness and said it would prove to be a mile stone in the later course of time.
The principle Prof. (Dr.) R.N. Gupta finds it to be a big event in the IT sector.
HOD of CSE Prof. Jeevan Kumar, organising secretaries Prof. Sadique Nayeem and Prof. Amit Bhatacharyajee were also present in the press conference.
