Two-day Foundation Day Festival at Sri Sainath Devasthanam Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, May 29: In Jamshedpur, the Sri Sainath Devasthanam at Ghorabandha, Telco Temple premises is gearing up to host a significant event – a two-day ‘Foundation Day Festival’ under the auspices of Sai Parivar Vishwa Seva Sansthan. President Anup Ranjan shared details of the festival during a press conference held at the temple.

The festival will see worship rituals meticulously conducted under the guidance of Pandit Acharya Shri Digambar Kulkarni, who is making his way from the revered Shirdi temple. The schedule for June 1, 2024, includes a series of rituals starting from 5:00 am and continuing until 6:00 pm, featuring Kakar Aarti, Mangal Snan, Puja, Havan, and more. In the evening, there will be a musical rendition of Sundarkand Paath by learned priests at 6:30 pm, followed by Shej Aarti at 9:00 pm.

On June 2, the rituals will resume from 5:30 am, encompassing Kakar Aarti, Mangal Snan, Special Worship, Poornahuti, and other sacred ceremonies until 3:30 pm. Later in the evening at 6:30 pm, bhajan singer Anil Bawra from T Series will uplift spirits with soulful bhajans.

In consideration of the intense heat, the timing of Baba’s Palki Yatra has been adjusted. The procession will commence at 4:00 pm, allowing devotees to participate comfortably. Additionally, Mahaprasad will be served at night, beginning from 7:30 pm, for the convenience of devotees.

Efforts are underway to extend invitations to Baba’s devotees through various channels, including distribution of leaflets at the temple, and outreach via social media, WhatsApp, and FM radio. To add a special touch to the festivities, instrumental artists from Srikakulam city in South India have been invited to perform traditional music, enhancing the spiritual ambiance of the Foundation Day Festival.
