Jamshedpur: City police today arrested two alleged criminals, Rakesh Sharma alias Sujit Sharma and his aide Tinku Sardar from Mahua Gali in Jugsalai police station area.
They also confiscated arms from their possession.
SP (city) Karthik S said cops had got a tip-off about criminals planning to loot traders on their way from Bistupur to Parsudih via Tatanagar railway station.
The accused persons were hiding in a house in Mahua Gali. Cops also seized a motorcycle from the possession of the accused persons.
�The accused persons are habituated criminals. They have been jailed earlier in cases of theft, loot and other crimes,� said the SP.
