Two Corona positives in Potka including wireless operator

Jadugoda, July 31: The Potka police station wireless operataor another under home quarantine in Nuagram were tested COVID-19 positive according to Community Health Centre In-charge Dr Mrityunjay Dhaoria. Both have been admitted to the Police Training Centre Isolation Ward in Jadugoda. With these two new cases on Friday, the total number of positives in Potka Block has swelled to 18.

In view of the continuous increase in coronavirus infection, Potka BJP leader Upendra Singh Sardar has demanded that the administration implements a lockdown for a period of 15 days as a measure to contain the spread of the viral infection. Earlier, two workers of the Block Office, a lady head clerk of CHC, four police personnel of the Potka police station and five members of one family had been infected of COVID-19.
