Two children drown in Kharkai, one saved

Jamshedpur, August 22: Two chidren were drowned while taking bath in Kharkai River under Kadma Police Station on Saturday.

One of the child was saved by a boy who was also bathing in the river nearby but couldnt save the second child. Soon police pressed in divers to help find the second child.

According to reports, Resident of Dhatkidih, Vicky Mukhi and Anshu Mukhi wento to Kharkai River near Gangotri flats under Kadma Police station to take bath.

Present at the spot, a Vikas named boy stopped them from going inside the river but ignroing him the children went inside and started bathing.

Soon they started to drown and seeing the situation Vikas jumped into the river and somehow he managed to bring out Anshu Mukhi but Vicky couldnt be saved and he drowned.

Soon the locals of the area called up Kadma Police Station. Presently police have pressed in divers to look for Vicky.
