Two buildings sealed for deviation from approved design

Jamshedpur, Aug 12: Following instructions of Mango Notified Area Committee special officer Deepak Sahay, on Thursday, the buildings of Vikas Singh, Dimna Road and Kabir Manjir, Old Purulia Road, Zakir Nagar were sealed due to illegal construction work without approved design. Illegal building was being constructed by the building owners of these houses without approved design.
The notice was issued by the office after inspecting the under construction building by the investigation team of MNAC. Simultaneously, illegal construction work continued unabated. A notice was slapped on the builder to inform the office after demolishing the illegal building within 48 hours, but the illegal building construction work continued continuously by ignoring the notice by the building owner.
Giving the third and final notice by the office, within 24 hours, the office was ordered to inform the office by demolishing the illegal construction itself, but despite repeated reminders by the notice, the illegal construction work was continued by the building owner. 
The officer said that despite giving notices several times, neither the design was passed by the building owner nor the written reply to the notice was given which is in defiance of government work.
Taking action in this context, both the illegal houses under construction under relevant sections of the Jharkhand Municipal Act 2011 were sealed today.
City Manager Jitendra Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Assistant Engineer Santosh Kumar, Junior Engineer Subodh Kumar, Office Assistant Chandi Charan Goswami etc. were present on this occasion.
