Jamshedpur: Police recovered the bodies of two teenagers who had drowned with one of their friends in Kharkai river at Baroda Ghat on the day of Holi. The three had gone to take bath in the river after playing Holi.
Sources said the bodies recovered today were those of Suraj Sahu and Abhishek. Yesterday, the two along with Adarsh Singh and three other friends, had gone to the river to have fun. But unfortunately, three of them drowned in the river. Three others were saved by local residents.
Police reached Baroda Ghat this morning after getting information about two bodies floating in the river from local residents. The bodies were found floating in the river. Divers were sent to the river to bring the bodies out. The kin of the deceased have identified the deceased persons, sources said.
