Two bodies recovered from Dimna Lake

Jamshedpur, June 13: Police here recovered the bodies of two persons who drowned in the Dimna Lake yesterday. The deceased were identified as Ashok Sao (55), resident of Tamulia, and Abhinav Sahni (40), resident of Bhuiyandih. The bodies were recovered from Bodam, cops said.

Police said the two persons had gone to bathe in the lake yesterday evening. But later they did not return home. The villagers searched for them, but all went in vain. The bodies were found floating in the lake water around 5 am today. The villagers took out the bodies on their own and informed police about it.

Police sent the bodies to MGM Medical College for postmortem examination. They said they were probing the case to rule out any foul play.
