Two arrested for mobile phone snatching from train passenger

Jamshedpur, June 13: Tatanagar Railway Police arrested Afroz and Md. Aftab from Garib Nawaz Colony in Jugsalai, accused of snatching mobile from a Sini based trader Vimal Agarwal.

Police recovered a mobile phone from the arrested duo which belongs to the deceased trader Vimal Agarwal. Jugsalai Police and Tatanagar RPF along with Rail Police Station incharge Ashok Kumar nabbed the culrpits.

Two of the accused in the case Raja and Chintamani are still on the run. The incident is reported of June 8 held near the Jugsalai railway crossing. A case was registered against the four in Rail Police Station.

During interrogation, Afroz said tghat he along with Md. Aftab, Raja and Chintamani have been involved in more than ten cases of chain and mobile snatching at Tatanagar Station and running trains.

The culrpits snatched a mobile phone from Sini trader Vimal Agarwal on Ispat express who was coming to Jugsalai.

Agarwal tried to catch hold of them and jumped from the train but he was badly hit with the railway line and he died.
