Jamshedpur, Oct 3: Two youths have been arrested by the Sidgora police station in connection with the theft on October 1 in the house of Ganesh Kumar Yadav, resident of Gwala Basti under Sidgora police station area of East Singhbhum district.
According to Sidgoda police station in-charge Ranjit Kumar the house items were stolen by unidentified thieves after breaking the lock of Ganesh Prasad Yadav’s house. Based on the information received, the police of Sidgora police station started an investigation.
After investigation Ankit Kumar Singh, resident of Bhuyandih and Krishna Lohar of Nandnagar were arrested after conducting raids. Both accepted their crime and three mobiles stolen and robbed items were recovered from them. Both the accused were sent to the court.
Significantly, Jewelry and cash worth one lakh rupees were stolen from Ganesh Yadav’s house. He had gone to his village in Mirzapur on 23 September and had returned Jamshedpur on the night of 29 September. That day he remained at his elder mother’s house. On the morning of 30 September when he went to his house he found the lock of the house broken and goods scattered. Three jhumka sets, two chains, anklets, silver bangles and Rs 10,000 were stolen from the almirah. An FIR was lodged at Sidgora police station.
