Jamshedpur, Nov 9: T V Narendran, Managing Director, Tata Steel launched the “Customer Service Portal” at the JUSCO Green on 9 November 2013.
He also flagged-Off the In-House designed Fogging Machine which was designed and developed by the Public Health Team under the leadership of Mr Ritu Raj Sinha, Chairman, Jamshedpur Town Steering Committee. Present during the function were Ashish Mathur, MD, JUSCO, P N Singh, President, Tata Workers’ Union, Office Bearers of Tata Workers’ Union, Mr Raghunath Pandey, President, JUSCO Shramik Union, Office Bearers and UCMs of JUSCO Shramik Union, Senior Management and employees of JUSCO.
In its journey towards customer driven excellence, JUSCO has taken up this initiative to bring about transparency in its services.
The portal, to be hosted on the Tata Steel and JUSCO intranet, will enable the employees to log any request/ complaints and know the status of the same and other scheduled activities like Over Head Tank Cleaning and Fogging.
In subsequent phases, more such facilities would be made available to employees for greater transparency.
JUSCO has designed and developed an in-house fogging machine which will be used in areas where truck mounted machines could not move. The new machine is mounted on a moped which can move in alleys and narrow roads.
With this new machine more areas can be covered in less time. JUSCO endeavors to continuously work towards improving customer satisfaction and create milestones in its journey towards excellence.
In the past also, JUSCO has taken up several initiatives towards improving its service delivery like the JUSCO Sahyog Kendra, JUSCO Grahak Seva Kendra, Decentralized Collection Counters, ATP Machines, Bill Desk, Air Tel Money, Dog Sterilization Centre, Cold Fogging, etc.
