Ranchi’s Ayush is Jharkhand topper with 99.99 percentile
Jamshedpur, Feb 7: Tushar Kumar Sinha, a student of Loyola School, brought laurels to his alma mater and parents by achieving a whopping 99.94 percentile marks in JEE Main 2023 session I.
Resident of Swarnarekha Flat in Sakchi, Tushar is the top ranker in Jamshedpur. His proud father, Arun Kumar Sinha is a senior associate in the CRM department, CRM, Tata Steel. Â
The result was announced by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday, February 7.
Other Jamshedpur students Rudra Sinha (99.86 percentile), Aritra Kolay (99.79 percentile), and Sumit Kumar (99.63 percentile) also excelled in the exam.

Around 2500 students from in and around Jamshedpur appeared in the JEE Main Session-1 examination. The exam was conducted on January 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, and February 1.
RVS College of Engineering and Technology was the examination center.
Meanwhile, Ayush Kumar Singh from Ranchi has scored 99.99 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 and has been declared Jharkhand and Ranchi topper.
JEE Main 2023 final provisional answer key was released on February 6. The provisional answer key was released on February 2 and students had time till February 4 to raise challenges to the answer key.
After the result of JEE Main Session-1, the students will now prepare for session-2.
The second session will be held on April 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12. The reserve dates for the exam are April 13 and 15. Registration for session two commenced today and will conclude on March 7.
This year, a total of 8.60 lakh students registered for session 1 exams and 8.23 lakh (95.80%) candidates appeared for the entrance exams.
In session 1, a total of 20 candidates scored 100 percentile, of which 14 are from the general category, four from OBC-NCL, and one each from gen-EWS and SC category. There are two girls who have scored 99.99 percentile.
