Tuiladungri Durga Puja pandal bhumi pujan held

Jamshedpur, Sept. 5: Like every year, a bhumi pujan ceremony was organised for Tuiladungri Durga Puja pandal at Tuiladungri on Wednesday. The event was attended by Patron of the Puja committee Raju Giri, President Mithilesh Singh Yadav, general secretary Dinesh Kumar and others. Sarvajanin Durga Puja Samiti has been organizing the ceremony before India’s independence.

Pandit Pradipt Kumar Das and Pandit Niranjan Rath performed the rituals. General Secretary of the puja committee Dinesh Kumar, said, the Durga Puja celebrations are held in the heart of the city which attracts a large crowd across the city and nearby areas. Tuiladungri Durga Puja is known as one of the oldest puja of Jamshedpur. Dinesh further said that this year also an attractive puja pandal is being constructed which will draw crowd in hordes. Lights decoration, fair and Goddess Durga’s statue will be the centre of attraction.

Present on the occasion were Mithilesh Singh Yadav, Rajkumar Singh, Prashant Giri, Rohit Gohil, B Sriniwas, Kishore Kumar Raja, Ranjeet Gupta, Satish Kumar, Balkar Singh, Pandey Pradhan, Amrik Singh and others.
