Jamshedpur, April 9, 2026: Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) continues to make India proud on the international stage, as its climber Joga Purty has officially qualified for the Asian Games 2026 in Speed Climbing.
Currently representing India at the Asian Climbing Championship 2026 in China, Joga delivered an impressive performance in the women’s Speed Climbing event. She secured a place among the top 16 climbers, thereby qualifying for the semi-finals and marking a significant achievement at the continental level. As per World Climbing data, she has qualified for the Asian Games 2026 based on this performance. She will now be competing in the top 16 and so on in the ongoing championship.

This milestone highlights TSAF’s growing strength in competitive climbing and its commitment to nurturing world-class athletes.
Notably, TSAF had earlier seen success at the Asian Games 2022, where two of its climbers qualified, showcasing the foundation’s consistent contribution to Indian sport climbing.
Adding to this success, TSAF climbers Aman and Anisha are also showing strong potential and have promising chances to qualify for the Asian Games 2026, further strengthening India’s presence in the sport.
