Jamshedpur, Feb. 14: Three climbers from Tata Steel Adventure foundation (TSAF), Jamshedpur excelled in an Open Sport Climbing Competition at St Stephens College, New Delhi held from February 5 to 6. The climbers from TSAF won several prizes under various categories.
Talim Ansari won the first position in the lead climbing in the Junior Boys� Category, while he was crowned second in the speed climbing and was adjudged best climber overall during the 11th St. Stephen’s College Rohan Kanhai Datta and Sunil Chandra Memorial Open Sport Climbing Competition organized by St Stephens College.
Another TSAF climber Amit Sharma won the first position in speed climbing in the Junior Boys� category.
Kumari Khusboo of TSAF won the third position in the speed climbing in Senior Girls� category.
TSAF aims to develop the spirit of adventure and enterprise among children, youth, corporate employees and senior citizens – men and women of all age groups and from all walks of life.
It emphasizes the creation of positive attitude amongst participants, through a multidisciplinary approach and a wide range of activities.
