TSAF cadets shine with 16 medals at National Youth Climbing Cup in Bengaluru

 

Jamshedpur, Aug 19: Cadets from the Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) delivered an impressive performance at the National Youth Climbing Cup, securing a total of 16 medals across various categories. The competition, which featured both Lead and Speed climbing, took place at the Yavanika Climbing Wall in Bengaluru on August 10-11 and was organized by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation.


The TSAF team, consisting of 21 athletes from various grassroots centers of the TSAF Sport Climbing Academy, competed in three categories: Youth A, Youth B, and Junior – both Male and Female. Over 100 athletes from across the country participated in the event.
The TSAF cadets’ medal haul included 7 Gold, 3 Silver, and 6 Bronze medals. The athletes were accompanied by coaches from the TSAF Sport Climbing Academy, who provided guidance and support throughout the competition.
