Jamshedpur, Oct 18: On October 18, 2024, the AJSU Party concluded its Patamda Block meeting, marking a significant step in the alliance between AJSU, BJP, JDU, and LJP (R). This follows a joint meeting held earlier at the BJP office in Ranchi, where key leaders, including AJSU supremo Sudesh Mahto, MP Chandraprakash Chaudhary, and central general secretary Ramchandra Sahis, finalized seat-sharing arrangements. AJSU secured a total of ten seats, including the pivotal Jugsalai constituency.

Upon arriving for the Patamda meeting, Sahis was warmly welcomed by party workers with drums and festivities, reflecting the enthusiasm among the grassroots level. Addressing the attendees, Sahis emphasized the necessity of the BJP-AJSU alliance for Jharkhand’s development, asserting that the NDA will contest all 81 assembly seats vigorously, aiming to form a majority government.
He urged party workers to remain steadfast in the electoral field and foster unity among the alliance members. “It’s crucial that we ensure no one’s sentiments are hurt and maintain coordination among all factions,” Sahis stated. He also highlighted the importance of mutual cooperation for success in the upcoming elections.
The meeting culminated in a collective pledge by AJSU party workers to ensure victory for the joint candidate, Ramchandra Sahis, in what they termed the electoral “Maha Kumbh.” Among the prominent attendees were Aditya Mahato, Banbihari Mahato, Amal Mahato, Subhash Singh, and others, all showing solidarity for the party’s electoral strategy.
